At the June meeting, the DVRPC Board approved $4.55 million in grants for 17 trails and trail connections in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. These grants represent instrumental investments in the region’s multi-use trail system, the Circuit Trails. The projects will continue to expand the network and build community connections to it.

Projects were selected to acquire right-of-way, plan, design, or construct Circuit Trails or community connections to the Circuit Trails. The Circuit Trails is a planned 800-plus mile network of multi-use trails spanning the metropolitan region. Currently, more than 423 miles of this network are complete and about 92 miles are in progress.
