The next DVRPC Regional Safety Task Force (RSTF) meeting will be will be devoted to current Regional Vision Zero efforts.
On Monday, January 13, 2025, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, the DVRPC Regional Safety Task Force (RSTF) will be hosting an online meeting devoted to current Regional Vision Zero efforts. Guest presenters will highlight work from various stages of the planning process–from drafting to engagement and implementation. Speakers include:
- Matt Johnson, coordinator of open space acquisition and park and trail development at Burlington County’s Resource Conservation Department, who will present on Burlington County’s Complete Network Plan;
- Matt Lawson, assistant director of Mercer County’s Planning Department, who will present on Mercer County’s plan to create a screening for Proven Safety Countermeasures;
- Cathay Spahr, transportation planner at the Delaware County Planning Department, who will present on Delaware County’s Vision Zero Outreach; and
- Marco Gorini, Vision Zero Program Manager at Philadelphia’s Office of Multimodal Planning, who will present on Philadelphia’s Vision Zero process from plan to implementation.
Additionally, DVRPC staff will be unveiling the Regional High Injury Network and share what’s to come for Regional Vision Zero. All presentations will be followed by a Q&A and breakout sessions where attendees will have the opportunity to react to the presentations and create action items for promoting safety in our region.
